Spring has officially sprung, and so have our butterflies! Over 36 caterpillars are emerging from their chrysalises this week, just in time for our celebration of Spring holidays.

We are buzzing with excitement as our nature-based learning takes flight—literally! The children have been observing the metamorphosis with wide eyes and wonder, sparking so many joyful questions, artistic creations, and imaginative play.

A huge thank you to the Behrman family who donated the caterpillars! And to the amazing Parent Advisory Board who moved mountains to donate the massive amount of milkweed for our very hungry caterpillars when they first arrived. Your generosity and enthusiasm helped nourish not just the caterpillars, but the experience for the whole school. This has been a true community effort, and we couldn’t have done it without you!

As we celebrate the season of renewal, growth, and transformation, these butterflies remind us just how magical change can be—especially when we support it together.

Stay tuned for more updates as the butterflies emerge and explore, and our children do too!
